The Communication Ministry informs Holy Family members and the community of parish news and activities. It manages the web site, sponsors a bi-monthly publication called Family Notes, and solicits newsworthy articles.

Finance

The Finance Ministry plays the role of steward for parish assets, income, and financial obligations. It nominates a qualified treasurer, recommends budget allocations to the Vestry, prepares the annual operating budget, oversees the parish endowment program, and provides quarterly contribution statements to parishioners. The team meets monthly.

This committee ensures that each memorial and/or gift is evaluated with respect to the overall use by the Church. The committee has the responsibility of acknowledging all gifts and reporting annually to the congregation.

Holy Family has a growing music program. An adult choir of about twenty-five members sings at the 10:30 service and supports the liturgy. Periodically, the Judy Sanger/Linda Vickery bell choir also performs.

The Outreach Ministry at Holy Family has been a supporter and leader in both establishing and nurturing ministries, projects, and Pickens County programs that enhance the quality of life for area residents.

This ministry's members seek to develop membership; welcome visitors; enfold newcomers into the life of Holy Family through the education, encouragement and generation of their stewardship of time, talent and treasure; and ensure the continued embrace of members and attendees, enabling Holy Family to be a continuing witness of God's abundant love.

Pastoral Care Ministry |

This ministry’s team, among the newest at Holy Family, extends the pastoral reach of the priest by taking seriously an understanding that all Christians are to be ministers. The team assists the clergy in providing pastoral care in times of sickness and emergencies. It also organizes a “Casserole Patrol” that provides meals to parishioners during challenging life situations.
